There’s something truly magnetic about Ella Reese — an artist who doesn’t just sing her truth. She lives it. Currently studying at the prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, Ella has found her calling in using music. She uses it as both a language of emotion and a tool for personal growth. Her sound is refreshingly genuine, infused with the heart of classic soul and the introspective storytelling of modern pop.
When she’s not crafting her own deeply personal songs, Ella can be found performing moving renditions of artists who inspire her — legends like Amy Winehouse, Eloise, Stevie Wonder, and Billy Joel. Each influence adds color to her own musical palette. This shapes a style that’s timeless yet undeniably her own.

A Promising Debut: “Satisfied”
Ella’s debut single, “Satisfied,” is a confident first step into the spotlight. The song feels like a quiet revelation — a blend of emotional honesty and smooth, soulful production that instantly captures listeners. Her voice carries warmth and vulnerability, effortlessly balancing power with restraint. It’s the kind of debut that doesn’t just announce an artist’s arrival — it makes you feel it.
Fans and critics alike have praised “Satisfied” for its authenticity and emotional depth. It’s easy to see why. There’s a maturity to Ella’s songwriting that’s far beyond her years. Each lyric feels lived-in, and each note is intentional. Ella also gives a special nod to Tidal, a platform known for supporting emerging artists. From NYC to the World Stage
Despite being early in her career, Ella’s performance résumé already reads like that of a seasoned pro. She’s graced legendary New York City stages such as The Cutting Room and The Bitter End. These performances are sponsored by respected organizations like the Songwriters Guild of America, Society of Composers and Lyricists, and the New York Songwriters Collective. Her talent and dedication have taken her far beyond New York — from performing at the APME Conference hosted by USC’s Thornton School of Music, to a special New Year’s Eve showcase in Bangkok, Thailand. She has also had a string of shows in Aspen and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Whether she’s performing solo, in jam sessions, or busking on city streets, Ella radiates a rare energy. Heart and Purpose: Singing for Serenity

New Single Feature: “Look Upon Love” by Ella Reese
🎵 Listen here: Spotify, Tidal, and Apple
Ella originally wrote “Look Upon Love” back in 10th grade during her songwriting class at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn Heights. A friend created the guitar riff while Ella crafted the lyrics and melody, inspired by the calm of a rainy, cozy day inside and the feeling of looking out the window wondering when brighter days—when love—would arrive. Even in its earliest form, the song carried a warm emotional honesty that hinted at her natural ability to capture longing with simplicity and sincerity.
This past summer, Ella revisited the song with producer Floyd Kellogg, transforming it into the upbeat, spunky version listeners hear today. The acoustic roots were swapped for an electric guitar lead, supported by drums, claps, bass, and lap steel to create a more vibrant and forward-moving groove. The new arrangement gives the track a lively pulse while still keeping its intimate, reflective spirit intact, allowing Ella’s clear, warm vocals to shine beautifully against the richer, more dynamic production.
Lyrically and emotionally, “Look Upon Love” explores the space between yearning and independence. What began as a quiet moment of wondering when love will return has evolved into a brighter reminder that it will come—yet it’s equally meaningful to feel secure and content on your own in the meantime. The final version feels like sunlight breaking through the clouds, blending vulnerability, optimism, and self-assurance into a track that is both uplifting and deeply genuine.
